Issanian Caliphate
Anthem
The Caliphate, ruled by the Sultan-Prophet, Fazir Elgawi. The Caliphate commands and governs the Sentarin-4 system. Currently tensions are high with the Republics, as the Caliphate wishes to hold the holy city of Jibranthar, which is home to many religious sites. Years ago, Elgawi saw in a vision of the city being desecrated by the Republican infidels who now hold it and vowed such a thing would be stopped while he still drew breath. Several Babylonian outposts have been set up on the planet of Esvar with an expeditionary force attempting to spearhead and maintain a foothold on the planet. A secondary force is said to be scheduled to arrive in no more than 2 month's time.
PEOPLE & Culture
The peoples of the Caliphate are devout. Not only to their Sultan, but to their God. Everything is done in the name of one, or the other. Wrapping themselves in various garments to keep the elements out, the Babylonians tend toward simple, practical, and humble attire.
MILITARY & Fleet
Though not equipped with the most advanced equipment, babylonian ships are sturdy. Often being able to function in harsh conditions.

Architecture & Territories
The system in which they live houses many dying planets, the star itself large, red, and cooling quickly. Built from the cold deserts upon which they sprawl, Neo Babylonian cities can often go unseen by thirsty wanderers. Many unwary travelers have died mere miles from their gates thinking themselves lost.
