A brutal empire spanning over the Sentarin-9 system.  Choosing to take captives, rather than outright kill, Queztec captives are good for one of two things:  Slavery or sacrifice.  Viewed as offerings to appease the Gods they serve, their victim's bodies are dismembered and preserved.  Like the Tzyq, they incorporate these trophies into their armor and clothing.  Though, unlike the Tzyq, the Queztecs savor the art of torture before the kill.  Often choosing slow ends for the unfortunate souls who fall into their clutches.  An anthropologist who studied the cruel people noted something he could only describe as "chilling" about their nature.

Allisor Nardun AE 9891- "It is not a lack of empathy.  They knew the man felt
immeasurable pain while they carved him.  Though, as I watched them torture this poor man, I saw what I could only describe as fascination in their eyes. Matched only by a drive to find his limits."

PEOPLE & Culture

Though they are a cruel peoples, the Queztecs are rather extravagant.  Often wearing the skins, pelts, or tusks of the creatures they kill.

MILITARY & Fleet

Their fleet and military are rather archaic.  Though of late, it seems they have been funneled weapons by the Republics, as the Queztecs are quite fond of hunting Skrykthe.

Architecture & Territories

Massive mechanized statues sit atop pyramids.  As the Queztecs had never known a superior enemy, many of their structures are gaudy and impractical.  This is believed to be the main reason many of the civilized nations disregard the potential threat they pose.
